A horse owner has been warned by the British Veterinary Medicines Agency that they may be using a potentially fatal condition, known as “premature ejaculation”.
The MHRA is warning horses not to use a horse’s medication like Progesterone, a drug commonly used to treat problems with a pregnant woman’s ovaries, because it may have the potential for causing a delay in the time when a horse will be in the uterus.
The alert includes the risk of anaphylaxis in horses, but there have been no confirmed reports of a pre-existing allergic reaction or severe allergic reactions to the drug or any other substances.
A spokeswoman for the MHRA said: “The MHRA is aware of the possibility of an allergic reaction to Progesterone. However, there are no known reports of any adverse reactions in the last 3 months.”
A spokeswoman for the MHRA said: “The MHRA is aware of the risk of anaphylaxis to Progesterone, but there have been no confirmed reports of anaphylaxis to any other substance.”
A spokesman for the company said: “We have received the full results of our investigation and are working with our regulatory agencies to assess the safety of these products.”
The MHRA has issued a statement warning the horses that the product may cause an allergic reaction. It is not clear how often the product is used, but the company said that it has “discreetly informed” the public that it has received a “very unusual” report.
In June 2015, the company told the MHRA that it had not received any reports of anaphylaxis in horses. In March 2015, a spokesman for the UK-based firm, who had no comment, said that the company had received no reports of a pre-existing allergic reaction to Progesterone.
The company said the warning was based on a study which did not include anaphylaxis in horses. A previous study found no adverse reactions to the drug in horses.
However, the MHRA has not confirmed the risk of an allergic reaction.
The company said: “We have received the full results of our investigation and are working with our regulatory agencies to assess the safety of these products.”
The MHRA says that it has received about 2,300 complaints for suspected pre-existing allergic reactions to the products and a further 1,300 for the suspected pre-existing allergic reactions. It also said the product does not have a known pre-existing allergy.A spokeswoman for the company said: “We have received the full results of our investigation and are working with our regulatory agencies to assess the safety of these products.”The product is a synthetic hormone called progesterone. It has been used for years to treat problems with pregnant women’s ovaries, but has also been used in menopausal women for the treatment of breast cancer.
The company said that it was not aware of the potential risk of pre-existing allergic reactions and that the products should not be used “without medical advice from a healthcare professional.”
The company said that it had received 714 complaints for pre-existing allergic reactions to Progesterone, which could be a cause for concern for the horses.
In 2016, it reported that an allergic reaction to the drug was reported in 3,942 horses from 22 states. In 2016, the company said the report was an “unexplained cause of death” for horses.
A spokesman for the company said that the company “will continue to monitor the progress of our investigation and will provide further guidance on the safety of the product”.A spokeswoman for the company said: “We are aware of the potential risk of anaphylaxis to Progesterone, but there have been no confirmed reports of a pre-existing allergic reaction or severe allergic reactions to the drug.”The product is also being used in animals as a treatment for high blood pressure, epilepsy and certain types of cancer.
